With everything that is going on, anxiety and stress are probably making you feel “hungrier” than ever! The truth is this is not real hunger.
I get it! I, too, am worried about what all this chaos will mean to our economy and to our health-care system.
The truth is that we don’t have control over anything at all that is going on, but we do have control over one thing.
That is, how we react to this current situation.
The reality is that with us staying home, we tend to just go to the kitchen and eat whatever we have available there.
The problem is that this crisis will end some day, and none of us want to come out of this five or ten pounds heavier. Right?!
So, let’s make a plan on how we are going to deal with this crisis!
The best thing you can do right now to keep from sabotaging all your weight-loss efforts, and maintain your weight, is to plan every night what you will eat the next morning.
Plan your breakfast, your lunch, your dinner, and two to three snacks.
Review it in the morning, and keep reviewing it during the day. After a few days of this, your brain will understand that food is just going to be used for when we are truly hungry.
Now more than ever we need to be intentional with our eating.
Now, tell me, are you going to use a notebook, a journal, or an app to plan your foods for the next day?
