Wellness isn't about fixing what's currently wrong with your health - that's what healing is for. Wellness is about doing the things that will prolong your current health. For example, finding ways to manage your stress will prevent that stress from eventually manifesting as illness. The more you can manage your stress, the better off you'll be in the long run. You may even prevent a serious illness. Think about that for a minute. What if you found a way to keep your nervous system in balance and it kept you from getting sick down the road? Doesn't that sound a lot better than having to face the inevitability of dealing with health problems? I don't know about you, but I certainly don't look forward to having to deal with being sick the rest of my life.
