Please join us in welcoming Nalah Morrow CNM to the practice! Nalah will start seeing patients and taking labor and delivery call at
Banner Desert in mid-June. We are so excited to offer midwifery to our patients and to encourage physiologic birth and improve the prenatal care and delivery experience.
Nalah is a Certified Nurse Midwife born and raised in Southern California. She is passionate about providing equitable and evidence-based Midwifery care, with an emphasis on being culturally competent while providing patient-centered care to all women across the lifespan. She graduated from West Coast University in California, where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She then immediately started her Midwifery journey and attended Bethel University in Minnesota, where she earned her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2023. Shortly thereafter, Nalah completed a year-long Midwifery Fellowship in Washington D.C. During this time she had the opportunity to hone in on skills for low intervention care, waterbirth, vaginal twin birth, and vaginal breech birth. She has experience working in the hospital, birth center, and homebirth settings, where she had the ability to care for a full spectrum of women.
Patient education and shared decision making are at the forefront of the patient-centered care which Nalah strives to provide. She desires to have every woman who she has the privilege of caring for feeling heard and empowered. She is passionate about honoring physiological labor and birth whenever possible, while encouraging women to listen to their bodies and take ownership in their own health.
Nalah has three small beautiful children along with a lovely and supportive husband. She loves spending time with her family and encountering new adventures. She also has a love for animals and enjoys visiting both zoos and aquariums that are AZA accredited institutions across the United States. Nalah and her husband have a mutual love of basketball and are huge Lakers fans. They look forward to attending games both home and away whenever possible.
