What are you swimming in? . . .

An old fish sees a pair of young fish swimming by.

"How's the water?" he asks them.

As they swim on, one of the young fish says to the
other, "What the heck is water?"

We're not that different from the fish.

We usually live our lives inside a current of something
we don't even recognize.

Our newest blog explores what that invisible current is
made of—and what it means to rise beyond it.

It's a spotlight on Ascending Energy, a painting by our
newest artist .

For the part of you that was never defined by the water . .

There's a story you may have heard about some fish: An old fish sees a pair of young fish swimming by. "How's the water?" he asks them. As they swim on, one of the young fish says to the other, "What the heck is water?" The young fish don't know what water is because it's the medium of their entire....

đź’›Meet Our New Artist, Yesang Leeđź’›

Many people have moments of sensing there's something deeper to uncover about themselves... and then they get on with the day.

Yesang didn't get on with the day.

From childhood, she held questions about who she was and why she existed here. Rather than setting them aside, she followed them over years—through the writings of sages, through meditation, and a slow and deliberate process of turning inward.

Layer by layer, something deeper came into view.

That unfolding awareness eventually led her to painting, and to Minhwa, the Korean folk art tradition, which she brings to life in her own way.

This month we welcome Yesang to our CYE Art Gallery. Check out our latest blog to learn more about her story and her paintings...

Matthew Smith’s Buddha Art Collection

Buddha imagery has been used for centuries to ground the mind, soften the spirit, and call in a quality of stillness.

These paintings by Change Your Energy artist Matthew Smith bring that quiet presence into your home. Each of his Buddha pieces are rooted in the natural world and the wisdom it reflects back to us.

Matthew creates his work using a meticulous layering technique—building over 40 layers of paint to achieve texture, light, and dimension that feel almost alive.

What is "spiritual art"?

It isn't defined by religion, or even by subject matter.

What matters is the consciousness behind the work. Spiritual art is made with awareness. It’s made to do something beyond decorate.

It can take many forms—from an abstract painting to sacred geometry, a sacred figure or a natural scene. It can even take us to realms beyond our imagination.

If you want to bring spiritual art inside your world to create a shift (rather than simply pass it by), feel your body first while looking at it. What changes do you experience? Then consider the vibe you want in your space and the intentions of the artist while making it.

The modern sacred art trends of 2026 reflect a collective hunger for grounding and meaning. More people are intentionally curating their spaces for how they want to feel, not just how they want things to look.

Spiritual art is an invitation to turn inward and reconnect to the forces of the divine. Whether it’s ancient symbols or contemporary visions, detailed iconography or pure abstraction, there is spiritual art that speaks your particular language.

When you walk into your home at the end of the day, how does it feel?

Not, how does it look.
Not, is it on trend.

But, does your body soften? Does your mind settle?
Does your inner being “land”?

In our newest blog, we explore what 2026 home decor trends are really pointing toward. The design world is having conversations about neuro-inclusive design, cocooning, and functional aesthetics.

Beneath them all, there’s a deeper shift…

People aren’t just styling rooms. They’re shaping environments that support their nervous systems, their wellbeing, and their sense of self.

The blog also looks at where energy art belongs in this conversation.
If you’ve felt the desire for your space to restore you, and not just impress . . . check out the blog: https://changeyourenergy.com/blog/what-2026-home-decor-trends-are-really-telling-us-your-home-is-a-field-of-energy-/

Some colors don’t demand attention—they create space for it.

Pantone’s Cloud Dancer invites stillness, clarity, and openness. Against this airy backdrop, artwork becomes a place where imagination can rest, breathe, and quietly expand. This luminous white acts like open sky, allowing color, texture, and emotion to emerge more fully.

Which pieces feel at home in this atmosphere of calm?

Save this for your next creative mood board.

❤️The heart can feel tender in hectic times like these, seeing all the suffering in the world. We want to stay open… but navigating compassion without depleting ourselves isn’t always easy.

In our newest blog, we reflect on "Quan Yin Dream" by our new artist Matthew Smith. It features the beloved Buddhist figure Quan Yin, who is sometimes called “the one who hears the cries of the world.”

Quan Yin embodies total compassion. She doesn’t turn away from suffering…
But she also doesn’t collapse beneath it.

In the blog, we explore what it means to embody that kind of grounded heart, and to remain present to the world’s pain without losing your center.

If you’ve been feeling the weight of it all, Quan Yin Dream may offer something steady to lean into…

When things feel intense or uncertain, where do we find grounding?

This month, we highlight a painting by our newest energy artist, Meekyung Shin () .

"The Sun, the Moon, and the Five Peaks (Irworobongdo)" is a contemporary reimagining of one of Korea’s most enduring symbolic images.

Irworobongdo originally emerged during the Joseon Dynasty. It was full of rich symbolism as a representation of balance during a time of political change and uncertainty. It affirmed and reassured that cosmic order still existed, with the king at the center.

In Meekyung Shin’s energy art interpretation, cosmic balance does not rely on external authority. Instead, she emphasizes that opposing energies–yin and yang—coexist, and true transcends time and human authority.

As we navigate the intensity of today’s world, Meekyung’s "The Sun, the Moon, and the Five Peaks" is a call to journey inward and realign with what endures.
