🌹 Today, April 28, marks Canada’s National Day of Mourning — a solemn day to remember and honor the workers who have lost their lives, been injured, or suffered illness due to workplace tragedies.
Many of our Canadian friends and snowbirds pause on this day to reflect, often with flags at half-mast and a moment of silence at 11:00 a.m. Our hearts go out to all those remembering loved ones back home.
Here in Arizona, we understand how important it is to have compassionate, professional support when families face loss — whether planning ahead or during difficult times. Our team at Lakeshore Mortuary is here to serve the snowbird community with dignity, respect, and personalized care for every tradition and need.
If you’re a Canadian family with ties to Arizona, or if you’re planning for the future, we’re available to help with any questions about arrangements, repatriation, or pre-planning.
Please feel free to reach out — we’re here for you.
