Meet Teagan, one of our phenomenal Registered Behavior Technicians here at BCA. Teagan received her double major in education and music education at Lake Forest College in Illinois. Now in Arizona, Teagan enjoys camping, thrifting and star-gazing. During sessions, Teagan loves teaching functional communication and shaping language. We asked Teagan her favorite thing about BCA and she said: “I love the community that has been built here. Not only the team, but among the clients and families as well. I love how supported I feel by my BCBA and my teammates. Most of all, I love how supportive all of our families are and how much they love and care for their kiddos. I has been amazing to see all of the parents so involved in the therapy and be so eager to learn and help their kiddos grow.” Thank you for all that you do Teagan!!

Meet Tasha! Tasha began her career in behavior analysis at Jennica’s first practice in Washington state in 2019. Initially, Tasha was in school for teaching, but after having Jennica as a mentor, she quickly found her passion for 1:1 behavior therapy. After moving to Arizona in 2021, Tasha continued to pursue that passion in the field. However, when Blue Cactus opened in 2024, it was a perfect opportunity for her to get back to her roots. With 5 years of experience in the field, Tasha brings her strengths of patience, compassion, and understanding of each child to our team. Her favorite part about ABA is functional communication training, and seeing her clients gain their power with their words. Tasha plans to begin her Master in Applied Behavior Analysis this coming winter!

Meet CJ! CJ became an RBT in 2019 with Jennica at South Sound Behavior Therapy in Washington State. After witnessing the positive impact ABA services had on clients and their families alike, what began as a job quickly turned into a passion. In 2020, this passion turned into a career when she enrolled in Ball State University’s Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis program. Since graduating in 2022, she has been completing supervised fieldwork hours with the intent of sitting for the BCBA exam in the Spring of 2025. Now as a Supervisor in Training, CJ is excited to continue providing services while also working closely with Jennica to give valuable insight and feedback to RBTs. Cited by past coworkers and supervisors as “the fun one”, CJ can’t wait to bond with any child she provides ABA to, teaching them valuable skills along the way.
