♨️Most are surprised to learn that Vaginal Steaming is spread across the entire globe!

Not just an impressive geographical reach but steaming has a rich history spanning hundreds of years.

In fact there are many cultures STILL TODAY that never lost the practice at all, Korea is a great example of both commonplace steaming spas and even using steaming within their hospitals for postpartum care.

While the practice itself was founded primarily by midwives and women healers, in some cultures men prepare the steam space and herbs for the women as a way to honor them. (We could definitely use more of this, am I right?)

With European colonization much of Indigenous and Herbal medicine, including the practice of steaming itself was pushed into obscurity.

Steaming is FINALLY re-emerging here in the States and being recognized for all the INCREDIBLE benefits, healing, and transformative properties.

…even through the times it seems like they don’t ❤️ (I’ve had lots of those moments too)

In a world that sadly thrives on convincing that parts of us are permanently broken, with no options, needing to be turned off/numbed, or any number of other ridiculously wrong or bandaid approaches, I support reigniting trust that all forms of healing are not just possible, but often times just require a bit of faith.
A reconnection of the body working as a whole.

That gentle reminder of the body always working FOR…not against you.

Especially when it comes to the most neglected and under researched part of a woman.
