It is a nice overview of the disease, the hope, the strengths and systems that can assist a family member caring for an elder.

The Longtree Graduates of the Assisted Living Administrator Course in New Jersey and Oklahoma have demonstrated that passion for leadership and service can ignite real change in senior living communities.
Their recent practicum at Complete Care offered invaluable, hands-on experience: a true “day in the life” of an administrator, where theory meets practice and every decision impacts lives.
As these new administrators step into their roles, they would do well to remember Brian Long’s approach to inspired leadership — an approach recognized with the Longtree Inspired Leadership Award in November 2024.
Leadership starts with genuine curiosity about your team; take time to learn not just what they do, but what motivates them. Building authentic relationships and being visible within the community fosters trust and collaboration, creating an environment where everyone feels heard. By listening actively and communicating transparently, new administrators set the foundation for a culture of openness and shared purpose — essential qualities for any thriving assisted living community.

The Grand Fondo starts September 1, 2025!
80 to 800 KM!
Join us as we bicycle through the Great Allegheny Passage and C &O Trails with Laurie and Pat! Enjoy our 80-800 KM (500 miles) ride in honor of Parkinson research. Additionally, each day we ride, a donation will be given to Parkinson Research, and other nonprofits, such as Geerz, Food banks.
To celebrate his 80th birthday, Patrick Loughney will be riding 800 km the Great Allegheny Trail and C&O
AS ALWAYS:
No E-bikes
No Whistlers
Ride a little, ride a lot or ride it all! - The event is coordinated by Longtree and Associates, LLC and they have agreed to donate $1 for each mile ride by each participant.
There will be a celebration dinner at Ohiopyle Lodge, Ohiopyle on September 4, and dessert at Cumberland on September 8!
