Thank you to for these awesome slimes( and hubby for the surprise after I spent a looottt of time watching these slime videos for relaxation)!!!.... First time trying these and I'm so impressed already! (Not pictured, Euphoria, as I already busted it out and have been playing with it haha!) Guys check her out if you are like me and it helps you to have your hands occupied when anxious, or if you're trying to break a swipe addiction and focusing on being more present with the people you love in your life! 😅😉

Did you know walking, hiking, jogging, running, are all natural forms of bilateral stimulation? The same type of stimulation is used in EMDR as a way to process trauma and negative cognitions!
Where is your favorite place to get in a processing session?

Repost from
This one is personal for me, because I have this! It was such a struggle growing up and still today... To have a hard time remembering people's names, and even telling right from left... And feeling somehow damaged or dumb because of it. Math was and is seriously the biggest struggle.
Many people know about dyslexia, but discalculia is so unheard of amongst virtually everyone I've personally talked to about it when I share my struggle. Please spread awareness! Help other kids/adults have a word for what they are going through, so they might get the resources they need. This is also often a co-occuring disorder with ADHD but can happen on its own as well.

Words are powerful. Have you ever felt this way?
Sometimes as we grieve we have a deep longing to return to places, time periods or people of our past. This longing can feel painful, while at the same time bringing with it feelings of mastalgia.
If you could go back to any part of your past, where would that be?

I love this quote because while I don't believe suffering is always purposeful (for instance when caused by others choices) I do believe we can find meaning in the suffering and grief we endure, if nothing else, it is often a catalyst capable of softening our heart and instilling it with Empathy for those we come into contact with.

Experiencing social anxiety during this time is becoming increasingly common. Social anxiety can feel like discomfort, feelings of shame, guilt, or embarrassment while out completing tasks.
Creating intention, working through unrealistic expectations, processing emotion as well as creating systems around tasks that need to be completed can help.
Here are some additional ways to help alleviate these symptoms: https://adaa.org/learn-from-us/from-the-experts/blog-posts/consumer/social-anxiety-during-covid-19

Agreed. The same holds true for the connection we have to our body. When we.diaconnect from uncomfortable sensations whether from conditioning or otherwise, we lose a part of our identity.
Reconnecting to the body can be accomplished through remembering ways we connected to it in the past, then building from there.

Re-share from just in time for the holiday season.
This can be a stressful and overwhelming time for a lot of couples. When couples are stressed old coping mechanisms become tempting, and struggles can lead to broken trust.
Choose instead to fortify as you apply these principles to help shield from reaching for those old mechanisms and instead focus forward on building and strengthening the relationship.
