This weekend I had the privilege of attending the Direct Primary Care Summit in New Orleans. This amazing conference is held every year to support doctors who are already working in a DPC practice or who are looking to start one.

I got to meet so many other wonderful doctors who believe that DPC is the best way to deliver the kind of care that our patients deserve. We all share the same values - putting patients first, being transparent with pricing, cutting out the red tape, and building real, lasting relationships with the patients we care for.

DPC is not just an alternative to traditional primary care. It’s the FUTURE of primary care. It allows me to slow down, listen more, and show up fully for my patients without the interference of insurance companies. I am proud to be part of this movement, and I’m more committed than ever to serving my community with this type of care.

Shout out to my awesome husband, Tyler, who attended the conference with me! And shout out to Dr. Aaron Neisen and Stephanie Neisen from who we loved getting to know during the weekend!

Every second Tuesday in June—this year, it’s today June 10, 2025—we’re reminded to take charge of our health and actually make that call to our primary care doctor.

📅 This day was started in 2016 by Bright Pink to empower women (and now everyone!) to prioritize preventive care.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend! I have so much to be grateful for this year, including all of my wonderful patients at Engage Health who have trusted me with their medical care. Opening my own practice has been my dream for many years, and now it’s finally a reality!

The office will be closed starting today at 12pm and will reopen on Monday at 8:30am. For urgent matters, please call and leave a voicemail or send a text through our text line. For true emergencies, please call 911 or go to the nearest ER.

Be happy and safe this weekend, and enjoy the food and festivities with your loved ones! ❤️🦃🥧🥳

I had such a fun time meeting tons of families at the Made for Mama Market and Expo this weekend! I got to share the word about Engage Health and how we provide high quality and affordable primary care without the hassle of insurance.

Even though it might still feel like summer outside in Arizona, cold and flu season has officially begun! I have seen a lot of people with viral upper respiratory infections in the last few weeks.

Here are a few things you can do to protect yourself and others from getting sick!

🦠 Wash your hands frequently, especially after touching your nose and mouth.
🦠 Stay home if you aren’t feeling well. If you can’t stay home, then wear a mask when you’re around other people.
🦠 Make sure you’re getting enough sleep and taking breaks to rest when your body needs it.
🦠 Fuel your body with nutritious foods and stay hydrated.
🦠 Get your flu shot, ideally before October 31.
