Home Care Assistance in Mesa is looking for a Staffing Scheduler - Caregiver Lead for our Mesa location. The Staffing Coordinator - Scheduler is responsible for carrying out the day to day client's scheduling coordination and and be Lead On Call CNA cover emergency call off shifts and train new employees Side by Side. The CNA Lead - Staffing Coordinator-Scheduler may be responsible for part or all of the following:
Key Functions:
Ensures that requests for home care services are promptly filled and scheduled into our software in a timely manner
Ensures that all schedules are complete and accurate in our software.
Reviews scheduling records daily to ensure that all staff are at client visits as scheduled; follow up immediately on any discrepancies
Monitors No Show, missed clock-ins and outs alerts and following up to resolve them in a timely manner
Reviews all homecare schedules daily in preparation for payroll and obtains billing approvals by the manager as needed
Reports any client or staff issues to supervisor promptly
Participates in on-call * communication with staff and/or family members regarding schedule changes with professional staff
On Call able to cover in home care shifts if need arrises ( as a CNA, Caregiver )
Other Functions:
Assist with an initial phone screening with potential applicant per Home Care Assistance guidelines
Assist in ensuring that all required pre-employment documentation is completed by prospective candidates per company hiring guidelines and accurately data enter the information into ClearCare
Assist scheduling interviews and performs all background checks for prospective candidates
Scheduler coordinates and performs the administrative portion of orientation for approved candidates
Data enter all information for new paraprofessional hires into ClearCare and maintains the Associate's physical employee file as appropriate
Performs any other functions as requested by the supervisor
Skills / Requirements
Scheduling in a Home Health company or related experience in a professional environment preferred but not necessary.
Demonstrated high-quality customer service skills, preferably in healthcare or high-end service business
Strong attention to detail; ability to manage many details related to data entry, scheduling, follow-up requests and file maintenance
Ability to build a strong working relationship with small family office
Willing be on call and work after hours or evenings if need arrises.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple demands in a timely fashion
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both written and oral communication with potential clients and current personnel.
