"Your business, it's just so clean, warm, and inviting. It just feels... safe here." "Ya, that's what I aimed for. I wanted a space that I would would feel comfortable in if I were the customer."
It feels like there are a million interpretations of how to run a massage therapy business. This is mine. I wanted to invoke feelings of comfort, like coming to a dear friends house where you know you're welcome and safe.
I strive for accuracy, thoughtful actions, and follow through. Im type-A, to say the least. I would expect nothing less when receiving my own massage, so I need to deliver even more.
Being trusted to perform bodywork is a responsibility that I take very seriously. That trust starts from the moment you walk through the door before we even exchange words.
Doing "my job" is all-encompassing. It's the clean, well decorated office you walk into. Its the textures you feel as you touch clean soft sheets, the soft foam of the table you lay on, the warmth of my hands as I lay them very gently on you. Before your session even truly starts, you need to be given the SPACE to relax.
I strive for that.

Skyward Therapies is officially 5 years old!

It's said that in business, most will fail in their first two years of operation, but if they make it to 5 years, they are a success.
Thanks to all of you, my business is now 5 years old and growing everyday.

I opened Skyward Therapies in 2019, just 11 months before the pandemic would change everything. When I had to temporarily close my doors in 2020, I thought my decade long dream of owning my own business had come to an abrupt end, but thanks to all of your trust and faith in me, I was able to claw my way back.

Each time someone has rolled the dice to give me a try, referred friends and family, shared a social media post, or left a review; it has instilled confidence in me to keep going.

I will continue to learn, be teachable, and absorb all I can to make each of your experiences better than the last. I honestly believe that massage therapy can alleviate pain and be the physical medicine that we desperately need in today's healthcare.
