About My Therapy
Are you feeling stressed out, overwhelmed, or like you are having a difficult time coping with life right now? You are not alone! I understand how challenging it can be to feel stuck and wanting to have more peace in your life. As Jon Kabat-Zinn said, “As long as you are breathing there is more right with you than wrong with you.” I fully believe this, and my goal as a therapist is to draw out the strengths that you already have and help you build new skills in order to face the challenges, transitions, and stresses that you are facing in your life.
My training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) allows me to help you build skills to manage the stresses that you are currently facing as well as help you find the root of those stresses and resolve them at a deeper level. I also do couples therapy (Gottman Method) for those who are wanting to strengthen their relationships.
I know choosing a counselor can be a challenging experience. You have already taken the hardest step and started yourself on the process of healing. I am here to help you, to support you, and to assist you as you further your journey of finding fulfillment in your life.
