Peptide science shutting down like… 👀

For a while now we’ve been saying the quiet part out loud: the unregulated peptide market has been a little wild. A lot of the peptides people buy online literally say “research use only” and “not for human consumption.” Yet somehow… they still end up in people’s bodies. 😅

Here’s the thing…peptides are medications. They affect hormones, metabolism, recovery, inflammation, and more. That means they deserve the same level of care, dosing knowledge, and medical oversight as any other treatment.

At MISH Wellness, we’ve always believed peptides should come from licensed medical professionals who understand the science, know the risks, and can monitor you properly along the way. Safety, quality sourcing, and appropriate dosing matter.

So while the internet peptide free-for-all might be changing… our stance hasn’t.

Omg so I’m the problem 😅

Even as a GLP1 medication expert and someone who uses them, I catch myself doing the same things my patients do. Wanting faster results. Thinking a higher dose will magically fix everything. Wondering why the scale hasn’t moved this week.

GLP-1s are powerful tools, but they’re not instant. More medication doesn’t always mean more weight loss, and consistency matters more than rushing the process.

This is exactly why I’ll never judge my patients. The journey requires patience, trust, and realistic expectations… even for us 👋
