Biography

My name is Theresa Cloyd, LAC. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. All of my hours are supervised by a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Supervision credential as required by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. I received a Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Clinical Counseling/Mental Health from The University of Phoenix. For my clients, I bring over 2 years of related behavioral health experience. Prior to establishing my private practice, I was employed in various settings including universities, and non-profit social services. I have in-depth experience in group, individual, and couples counseling. My treatment approach is person centered. I believe the approach must be tailored to each individual, family, or couple and for this reason, various treatment modalities are used including strengths-based, spiritual centered, and evidenced-based.
