🌟 RISE Oregon Leadership Spotlight 🌟
Meet Megan Davis, a dedicated HR professional with a passion for people, process, and creating positive workplace culture. With years of experience in employee relations, recruitment, and compliance, Megan brings both heart and humor to everything she does—believing that even tough conversations go better with a little empathy (and maybe a dad joke or two).

Outside of work, Megan is a proud wife and mom to a spirited toddler who keeps her on her toes. Her home life is joyfully chaotic, shared with two lovable dogs who think they're human and frequently star in her Zoom calls. When she’s not navigating workplace challenges or toddler tantrums, Megan unwinds by crocheting cozy creations, rocking out to classic and modern rock, and singing along to Disney soundtracks—sometimes all at once. She’s a firm believer that work-life balance should include laughter, creativity, and a bit of magic.

🌟 Rising Stars – Yuma! 🌟

RISE AZ Residential Division is thrilled to share this photo of our three amazing Group Home Coordinators, who recently achieved a 100% pass rate on their July state monitoring review! 🙌

All three passed with zero findings, which is a huge accomplishment and a true reflection of their hard work, dedication, and attention to detail. Year after year, these reviews highlight the heart and effort they put into their roles, and this year’s results say it all. 💙

Back to school mornings can be stressful, especially for children who need extra support with transitions. A trauma-sensitive routine can help start the day with calm and connection.
1. Start with a warm greeting, eye contact, and a gentle tone
2. Use a visual schedule (i.e., brush teeth, get dressed, eat breakfast) to support anxiety and independence
3. Offer choices where you can to allow your child an opportunity to feel a sense of control
4. Build in time for regulation (i.e., deep breathing, soft music, or rocking in a chair or holding a preferred sensory toy)

When children feel safe and supported at home, they’re better prepared to learn at school. 🚸 RISE Idaho Family Services is here to help!

Our mission at RISE, Inc. is to Create Opportunities for and with People. This mission statement encompasses not only the individuals and families for whom we provide services and supports to, but also employees and stakeholders. RISE believes in the individuals, families and employees who are part of our organization and that opportunities can and should be created through all of our actions. We are guided by this mission and utilize it in meetings, conversations, and decision making. It is more than something we say or put on a website; it embodies our purpose.
