We are filled with gratitude for our DSPs! During DSP Recognition Week, our AZ Residential teams went all out, celebrating our incredible Direct Support Professionals across the state — from BBQs and dunk tanks to fun games, surprises, and tons of appreciation gifts!

✨ Prepare in advance – Talk about who will be there and what to expect.
🕒 Keep routines – Stick to familiar sleep, meal, and quiet times when possible.
🎨 Offer choices – Let them decide on small things like outfits or activities.

RISE Oregon's Eugene staff teamed up with United Way of Lane County for their Days of Caring volunteer event to assist Relief Nursery in sprucing up their planter boxes for the fall harvest. Relief Nursery is a non-profit that serves low-income families and provides them with resources and daycare activities for children ages 0 - 6. The children who attend their program spend a lot of time outside in the garden, and our team helped them fix up and build new planter boxes so that the children could be safe while harvesting fall veggies. 🎃🍂

Our mission at RISE, Inc. is to Create Opportunities for and with People. This mission statement encompasses not only the individuals and families for whom we provide services and supports to, but also employees and stakeholders. RISE believes in the individuals, families and employees who are part of our organization and that opportunities can and should be created through all of our actions. We are guided by this mission and utilize it in meetings, conversations, and decision making. It is more than something we say or put on a website; it embodies our purpose.
