I finished this quilt last week for my cousin, Max McKnight’s granddaughter. She was quite the athlete and managed to also be the president of the future farmers of America. She had some very unique items that I was able to incorporate and the quilt I really had fun creating this one. She was a cross-country runner so I used a sneaker quilt design.

While I’ve been recovering from back surgery I found I can still piece quilts. Marty and my good friend Trena have been kind enough to load the finished quilts on the long arm for me so I have been able to keep busy with my restrictions.
