Dr. Whipple graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee with honors. He was comprehensively trained in all aspects of optometry including: primary eye care, medical eye care, contact lens care, vision therapy, and pediatric vision. He then relocated back west to practice in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Whipple enjoys working with people of all ages and has particular interest in fitting all types of contact lenses including: toric contact lenses (for astigmatism), multifocal contact lenses, monovision contact lenses, gas permeable contact lenses, and orthokeratology (night time contact lens wear to correct nearsightedness). He has interests in American history and enjoys active outdoor activities with his wife and four children.

Destin D. Whipple, O.D. Dr. Whipple graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee with honors. He was comprehensively trained in all aspects of optometry including: primary eye care, medical eye care, contact lens care, vision therapy, and pediatric vision. He then relocated back west to practice in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Whipple enjoys working with people of all ages and has particular interest in fitting all types of contact lenses including: toric contact lenses (for astigmatism), multifocal contact lenses, monovision contact lenses, gas permeable contact lenses, and orthokeratology (night time contact lens wear providing freedom from daytime glasses or contact lenses). He has interests in American history and enjoys active outdoor activities with his four children.
