Having trained at a US News and World Report top 3 pediatric hospital, Dr. Lai has the experience and knowledge to help parents comfortably navigate the challenges of keeping their child healthy and safe. From premature infants to adolescents up to age 21, she thrives on building long term relationships with her patients and also the parents as well- because a child’s health is a team effort. Trained to practice evidence based medicine, Dr. Lai practices the latest standards of care as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. She considers it a privilege to be trusted to help care for your child, whether it be managing chronic medical conditions like asthma or navigating the ongoing mental health challenges faced by teenagers today. In her spare time, Dr. Lai enjoys mentoring her little sister in the Big Brother, Big Sister program, spending time with her family and her two dogs, and just completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training certification in June 2022! She hopes to be able to incorporate yoga into mental health and lifestyle management for her patients.
