Hospice is about a higher quality of life. The goal is to provide patients with comfort and dignity during their end-of-life journey. Hospice care is not about curing the disease, but rather about alleviating the patients' symptoms and enhancing their quality of life. The interdisciplinary team works closely with the patients and their family to ensure that the patients' wishes and preferences are respected and that they receive care that is tailored to their unique needs.
