Being a parent means little eyes are always watching đź‘€

When you make time to move your body, you’re not just doing it for you — you’re showing your kids what it looks like to prioritize health, self-discipline, and self-care.

Even if it’s just 20 minutes a day, that consistency teaches them more than words ever could.

Strong parents raise strong kids — mentally and physically.

You don’t need hours, just intention. Show up for you, and they’ll learn to show up for themselves.

So bring them to the gym. Schedule that class. Involve them on your routine. Watch them thrive.

But back to the movement...

Z Press is a great shoulder press variation that we utilize a lot. Not only does this dumbbell press offer easier positioning for the shoulders, but it also helps with core strength and posture in a big way. On top of all of that, it's a great alternative for higher skill movements like handstand push ups.

What do we mean?

To us, functional fitness means training your body for everyday activities, and to make daily motion easier and safer.

When we practice functional fitness, it’s for activities like:

âś… Picking up children
âś… Walking in nature
âś… Being mobile on the floor

But fitness isn’t always fun. Sometimes it’s hard to get moving.
