Another 72 hours down with the CHNOLA relief team🎉 Thanks Rebecca and Jeff for your hard work!!!

Hurricane Ida made a huge impact in the city - most of our residents are still without power and have damages to their homes. Our program has created an alternate schedule so volunteers work 3 days on with time off in between until all our resident can safely return to the city. Huge thank you to all our volunteers who have stepped up to the plate!

Thinking of all our residents, faculty, and staff at this time. 💚

Both Ochsner and Children’s Hospital have called a code grey, meaning only a small number of essential employees will be at the hospital until it is determined safe to leave. All Tulane peds residents on the code grey team are strictly voluntary and interns are not allowed on the team. This allows everyone else to safely evacuate if needed. Thank you to all of our code grey volunteers and we hope everyone who is either staying or evacuating stays safe. 📸:
