Mardi Gras-themed science experiment anyone? Our level 2 school readiness group had an opportunity to learn about the "Mould effect" as they watched gravity, inertia and momentum turn Mardi Gras beads into a rising loop! A few of our kiddos even asked to have additional turns placing the beads back into the jar and watching them jump right back out.

Our swing is back! After taking a break from the gross motor swing for a trampoline, the swing has made it back into rotation and serving it's purpose promoting peer engagement, giggles and lots of fun.

Our level 1 school readiness group is learning all about community helpers! This group had so much fun pretending to be dentists and using puff paint toothpaste to clean some teeth.

Sometimes we finish our work with a couple minutes to spare. This guy chose to look through some books as a way to incorporate and practice waiting for the rest of his peers to transition to the next activitiy.

Ice cream anyone? Pretend play centers like this ice cream shop are a wonderful way to work on pretend play skills AND peer conversation! Back and forth conversation is definitely needed to ensure the ice cream you order is the correct flavor.
