We are thrilled to welcome Kristen Plaisance, BCaBA to our BBG Family! Read on to learn about Kristen and the services she provides!

Kristen Plaisance is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst in the New Orleans area. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s in Education with a concentration in High Incidence Disabilities from Nicholls State University.
Since 2015, Kristen has worked in a variety of roles including pottery instructor, special education teacher, lead line technician, and Registered Behavior Technician, supporting individuals ages 3–21 in both clinical and school settings. Her experience includes working with children who display moderate to severe behavioral needs.

Kristen is passionate about helping clients develop meaningful skills in self-management, communication, daily living, and social development. She values collaboration with families, educators, and school staff to create supportive environments and implement individualized interventions that promote long-term success.

Congratulations to our very own Abby Schwab on becoming a BCBA! Read on to learn about Abby and the services she provides!

Abby Schwab is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, providing clinic and school-based services in the parishes surrounding the greater New Orleans area.

Abby was raised in Houma, Louisiana, where she was exposed to the culturally rich environment unique to the Cajun bayou culture of southern Louisiana. In 2017, she moved from Houma to New Orleans, working and managing teams in hospitality before deciding to return to school to complete her education. Abby graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2020 from the University of New Orleans with a B.S. in Psychology.

Abby discovered her passion for ABA while working as an RBT, specifically with acute behavior cases. In July of this year, Abby received a Masters of Art in ABA, with a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Ball State University. During her time in the program, she trained and completed the apprenticeship program, working with children ranging in age from 2-13 with experience with a wide variety of behaviors and skill deficits in areas such as functional communication, social skills, and independent and adaptive living skills. Abby is passionate about providing evidence-based ABA therapy, with an emphasis on individualized treatment and interventions tailored specifically to the learner and their own set of unique challenges and needs. Abby's goal as a practitioner is for each learner in her care to have access to all possible opportunities that provide the best possible trajectory at life!

Congratulations to our very own Molly O'Brien on becoming a BCBA! Read on to learn about Molly and the services she provides!

Molly O’Brien is a BCBA and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the Greater New Orleans area.

In 2016, she graduated Cum Laude from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She went on to get her master’s degree in applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue University Global in 2024. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in August 2025.

Molly was born and raised in Jackson, MS. After graduating from undergraduate, she soon moved to New Orleans to work in hospitality. After 3 years, she decided to return to school and began working in ABA in the clinical setting with children ages 2 - 5. Starting as a BCBA Student Intern at Brennan Behavior Group and eventually completing the apprenticeship program, she gained additional experience working with children ages 3 – 14 with a variety of different behaviors.

Molly is passionate about the field of ABA and enjoys helping to bring socially significant behavior change in the clients with whom she works. As a practitioner, she focuses on evidence-based tactics to promote skills such as functional communication, adaptive living skills, and school readiness so that her clients can thrive in both the therapeutic setting and the natural environment. Molly ensures the use of an individualized approach so that every child can achieve their unique goals.

Outside of the clinic, Molly enjoys taking walks in Audubon Park, cooking, baking, and spending time with her fiancé and their three cats, Rhea, Fitz, and Mozzarella.

Congratulations to our very own Alexa Hernandez who is now a Certified Social Worker (CSW)! She started with BBG as an ABA tech, transitioned into therapy as an intern, and now has her own caseload working with children.
