If you’ve had this thought, you’re not alone.
Children develop at different paces. Some talk early and often. Others need more time — or a little more support — to turn understanding into expressive communication.
Receptive language (what they understand) and expressive language (what they say) are different skills. A child may follow directions beautifully but still struggle to form words, combine phrases, or communicate clearly in social settings.
And that doesn’t mean something is wrong. It means development may need guidance.
At TLC, we offer a variety of programs designed to meet children exactly where they are — including:
• Individual Speech Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Physical Therapy
• Feeding Therapy
• Social Skills Groups
✨ We currently also have openings in our social skills groups:
• 3–5 year olds (Wednesdays 4:30–5:30pm or Thursdays 4–5pm)
• 5–7 year olds (Tuesdays 4:15–5:15pm)

If you’ve been wondering about your child’s speech, confidence, or social development, early support makes a difference.
You don’t have to navigate those questions alone.
