Honored the Coleman Dermatology will be one of the first practices in the country to be part of prevue program for Daxxify.
FDA approved in September, Daxxify is a new Botox alternative that in clinical trials lasted for 6 months, although some patients saw results for up to 8 months. We are thrilled to be able to offer this to our patients as we know you’ve been waiting for it. We are accepting appointments starting Dec. 6th for Daxxify injections. Imagine being able to go for longer stretches of time without wrinkles returning. We can imagine it and we can’t wait.

Sofwave is on its way to Coleman Dermatology. A non-invasive way to tighten and lift the skin addressing so many of our patients concerns.

Starting in our mid-20s, collagen and elastin begin to break down, causing our skin to wrinkle and lose its elasticity. Sofwave™ is a clinically proven, non-invasive approach to remodeling collagen, which improves facial lines and wrinkles and a lifting effect to the eyebrows, neck, and submental region.

Using proprietary Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam SUPERB™ technology, ultrasound energy precisely passes through the skin’s surface (the epidermis), heating the mid-dermal tissue at just the precise depth and temperature to rejuvenate collagen fibers and improve the overall appearance of the skin.
Who is a great candidate? Anyone looking to lift and tighten the skin. Full results at 3 months. Does it hurt? Beauty is never painless but Dr. Coleman’s wife and friend both participated in a demo (their one month results are slides 3 and 4) and found the procedure to be fine with numbing cream although higher settings patients may request supplementation to topical numbing. No real redness post treatment and no downtime.
How long do results last? Patient dependent but we feel confident 12-18 months at the minimum. Cost will vary on number of locations treated. Call our office to be first on the list for when it arrives.

Let’s talk Redensity. One of the chief cosmetic complaints of many of our patients are the horizontal neck lines. While genetic, many patients have had them since their teen years although severity varies by patient, they all share the same dislike of the neck bands. Until now we’ve not had a fantastic solution to treating horizontal neck lines. Enter Redensity. An FDA approved HA filler for fine lines. It’s thin consistency makes it ideal for under eyes, lines around the mouth and those annoying horizontal neck lines. Its ability to fix lines without the patient appearing “filled” is important as we want our patients to look as natural as possible. If scheduling for Redensity on the neck, keep in mind bruising is possible so check your calendar for events in the few days after treatment. This patient didn’t bruise at all and was thrilled with her results. We were too and continue to be. All HA fillers build collagen over time so that will be an additional step in the right direction for patients who receive it. Results last for months up to a year although it’s important to keep in mind each patient metabolizes filler differently. Want in? Call our office to schedule.
