How Far Should Your Neck Move? 🤔
Ever wonder if your neck has range of motion that is ideal? A healthy neck should be able to move freely in all directions. Here’s what the ideal range of motion looks like in degrees:
Flexion (Looking Down): 45°
Extension (Looking Up): 55°
Rotation (Looking Side to Side): 80-90° each way
Lateral Flexion (Ear to Shoulder): 40-45° each way
If you’re feeling stiffness, pain, or limited movement, it might be time for some stretching, acupuncture, and soft tissue work to restore mobility.
