Yesterday, Louisiana finally entered the Counseling Compact. In the time it took to get here, over three years, I proceeded with direct state licensure in 6 other states. Now, I can select four states from their little list to get licensed. Thankfully, the next state i planned to get licensed in is Arizona. So, I'll sign on to the Counseling Compact for one state. No one seems to be able to answer my question though. Since I'm licensed in 7 other states besides my home state, will I be able to transfer my licenses from the compact states to the compact? My guess is no, because nothing is meant to be that easy. They prefer it not to be easy. Meanwhile, my credentials now take up a full line.
