Snyder Village Snyder Village is a Life Plan Community located in Metamora, Illinois. We're "Your Place to Call Home". Mrs.

Snyder Village began with an estate gift from Metamora resident, Bertha Snyder. Snyder’s gift provided the seed money that laid the foundation for the opening of Snyder Village in 1988. Snyder Village is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization which is governed by a local, volunteer board of directors. Our care for residents exceeds simply maintaining health and dignity. Snyder Village is a life plan community located on the edge of the village of Metamora, about 20 minutes from Peoria, IL. Our 40+ acre campus includes retirement cottages and apartments, beautiful assisted living accommodations, and a caring and skilled health center with 24/7 nursing care. Two levels of memory care serve residents on campus and inpatient and outpatient skilled therapy services are also available for residents and the surrounding community. The Snyder Village Home Care team lends a helping hand to individuals across four counties - Peoria, Tazewell, Woodford, and Marshall. Whether you are independent, have crossed the threshold of needing minimal care with day-to-day living, or require professional nursing assistance, our well-trained staff is always available to help. Our residents had a great time visiting Mended Hearts Stable, Inc,, and what a day it was! From a gentle horse and playful goats to the sweetest therapy dogs, every moment was filled with laughter, connection, and calm. 🐐🐶🐴

🌟 A Heartwarming Surprise and Reminder to Pay It Forward! 🌟

This week, our Snyder Village family experienced something truly special. When we got to Avanti’s, an anonymous person bought everyone’s dinner! Can you believe it? Someone saw our group walk in and told their waitress they hoped that, one day, someone would care of them the way our residents are cared for at Snyder Village when they get older.

There were 15 of us, and we were all absolutely shocked (in the best way!). What a beautiful reminder of the power of kindness and the ripple effect of paying it forward.
