There’s no place like home. I feel so relieved and grateful that we were able to go home. Organ transplantation is not a cure. It is a lifelong condition that requires ongoing management and close monitoring. The fear and trauma of losing your child never goes away. Every day, we hope for good numbers and that the new organ lasts a lifetime. 💚💚💚

We’re in recovery, resting comfortably. Hoping the pathology results helps our team understand what’s happening and how we can fix it. 💚

We’re here bright and early for a liver biopsy. The team is about 80% certain that we’re in rejection so we have been admitted for steroid treatments to get her back on track.
