Last month I had the pleasure of bringing a Stress and Aromatherapy workshop to the Somali Parents Advocacy Center for Education, SPACE, in Roxbury 🌱

I was greeted with love and a warm embrace from women who solely spoke Somali, but felt all the necessity of aromatherapy.

I feel so grateful to God for the opportunity to bring healing and wellness to different communities, I was created for this!

Still on such a high from our workshop at the City of Boston | Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement Forum hosted at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute!

Thanks to the amazing duo Therlande & Marlyn, co-founders of , we were invited to lead a Stress & Aromatherapy workshop at the forum, which was a total success!

Sirena’s Secret was able to inform the community about the dangers of stress such as binge drinking, physical ailments and flight behaviors, as well as having them explore what is stressing them out like relationships, work & even the government with upcoming elections.

By providing safer alternatives to managing stress such as meditation, prayer, yoga, music and of course aromatherapy, we are able to shift away from destructive behaviors, and thus curate a more mentally stable and intentional environment for everyone to thrive!

Being able to share the gift of herbalism is so gratifying for me. Through the series of “Mi Botiquín” or “My Medicine Cabinet” workshops with my company, Sirena’s Secret, we are working to demystify the world of herbs and provide the community with affordable and accessible ways to take care of themselves & their loved one’s. I can’t wait to continue spreading the love & knowledge that is herbalism.
