Today marked 6 amazing years for our sobah sister Christina, a woman of grace and dignity!!! She shared with us tonight after receiving her coin, how just today she heard words from her dearest grandson that showed her the PROMISES of this program really do come true! And Hope is Real!! 🙏✌❤

Thank you ladies for being my tribe throughout this journey of recovery💜
On remember the day I walked in these doors at the Haven of Hope, broken, scared, utterly remorseful, I also remember feeling hopeful for the first time. Feeling that I can do better, be better. I saw it in your eyes and felt it in your hugs. Even though I swore then I'd never forgive myself for the damages I had done to the ones I loved, in time I have made amends where possible, stand willing to make more and have learned to live being present in the day. Cause that's all I have, today.
I didn't know that life without mind altering substances would be a life worth living 5 years and 1 day ago. That day I wasn't going to choose life at all. Somehow, unknowingly with guidance from a power greater than myself, I changed my mind and did the hardest thing ever and asked for Help.
Although it was humiliating, painful and terrifying, I'll never regret it. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger right?!
Today I get to help others who felt as I did. I get to hold my head high, I get to live life on life's terms and I get to do it with a spiritual connection and unwavering support. O.D.A.A.T
