We are proud to spotlight our Owner, Robert Chase, at Methuen Family Funeral Home.

A fourth-generation Methuen resident, Rob has deep roots in our community and a lifelong calling to serve families during their most challenging moments.

Rob’s journey with this very funeral home began in the 1990s, where he first worked and developed his passion for compassionate, dignified care. After several years, he relocated to Pennsylvania, where he continued his career as a funeral director at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory in York, PA. Though his time away built valuable experience, his heart remained tied to Methuen. In 2011, Rob returned to the funeral home, resuming his work as a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He was later promoted to General Manager in 2015, where he continued to lead with dedication and care.

In 2021, Rob and his wife, Sabrina, proudly purchased the funeral home—then known as Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home—and continued operating under that established name for four years while making meaningful improvements to the facility. In September 2025, they officially renamed it Methuen Family Funeral Home to better reflect their vision of personalized, family-centered service right here in the community they love and have served for decades.

Rob remains hands-on every day, ensuring that every family receives the highest level of professional guidance, empathy, and respect in our beautiful, comforting historic setting. Together with Sabrina, he is focused on honoring traditions while providing modern, thoughtful care to the families of Methuen and the Merrimack Valley.

“It is truly an honor to serve the community I grew up in. My goal has always been—and continues to be—to help and assist families with compassion and professionalism during one of life’s most difficult times.” — Robert Chase

We are grateful for the trust you place in us and look forward to continuing to care for our community with heart and dedication.
