Hi everyone, I just wanted to post because I just got out of the hospital. I work out six days a week lifting heavy for the past nine months. I haven’t had any issues. I started creatine about seven months ago and I take pre-workout before every workout.
Today because I usually take a scoop and a half of pre-workout I thought I would them add two because I was feeling a little sluggish and I finished my workout. It was a good workout, and after I sat down my heart rate elevated to scary heights and would not drop.
I went to the hospital and was told that I was in a sustained ventricular tachycardia from the pre-workout and that the creatine is causing acute damage to my kidneys, and I may have kidney failure now.
I’m just letting everyone know that the supplements that we take may not be worth it. I am upset that I can’t take them anymore, but it’s not worth it.
 I don’t feel like I’ve been on these supplements that long not even a year please be careful.
