New job ALERT!!!
The City of Mexia is accepting applications for the position of Municipal Court Clerk. The selected applicant will be assisting in the coordination of court matters with defendants, attorneys, police department and other criminal agencies. You will also be collecting fees, fines, preparing court dockets, complaints, warrants, summons and other duties as assigned.
You must have knowledge of computers and computer applications; Certifications preferred, however, if not, you must obtain withing two (2) years of hire – Municipal Court Clerk Certification Level I. Applicant must have a high school diploma/GED and a valid Texas Driver’s License. This is an hourly position of 16.87 to 21.70 depending on qualifications. Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., plus benefits.
