I live in a small town on the shores of Lake Ontario in Upstate NY, named Mexico. I am the mother of two beautiful young ladies, Katelyn and Julia, and wife to Marc for the last 33 years. We are a retired US Air Force family and spent many years living in other areas such as Maryland, Texas and Germany. I have been working from my home office for the last 8 years for a company in Alexandria, VA. Yes, you read right I live 450 miles from where my work desk is! Luckily with technology these days I don't have to make that commute everyday. :)

I found yoga almost 7 years ago when wanting to spend some mother daughter time with Katelyn and we decided to attend a free class in a near by town. When I left that class I knew I had found something very special and since then have been attending classes at different studios in the area. I have received my 200YTT from Happy Jack Yoga University and am currently taking courses towards my 300YTT. When you attend one of my classes my goal is that you will be able to let go of the outside world and its demands on you for just a little while, by listening to what your body and soul needs while on your mat. My outdoor class will incorporate yoga and nature to bring you into alignment with Mother Nature, leaving you feeling at peace with your world within and out.

Yesterday, my knees were talking to me during the morning at work. I took a walk at lunch, found a tree with some beautiful green grass underneath, took off my shoes and socks, put my hands on the tree, and breathe. About five minutes later, I resumed my walk with no knee pain. Try it, my friends you might be amazed, the difference in your body could surprise you!
