· Uses standards of medical-surgical nursing practice to increase the quality of care and quality of life for the patient, family, and significant other(s) by systematically evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice

· Establishes effective relationships and serves as an advocate with the patient, family, and significant other(s) to facilitate the development of the care plan unique to the patient’s care needs

· Uses the nursing process to develop and implement the plan of care, collect assessment data for each patient, determine appropriate nursing diagnoses, identify expected patient outcomes, determine the plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes

Human Resources Generalist

Provides support to managers and employees in multiple Human Resources areas. Multitasks in a high-functioning, detail-oriented, fast-paced environment that requires a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in recruiting process with scheduling interviews, processing background checks, drug screens, calling on references and more
Own the onboarding process by being the oncoming employee's HR contact, plan onboarding activities, establish the employee's HRIS presence, file new hire paperwork, run background checks, etc.
Maintain confidential employee files and employee actions
Fosters positive employee relations and works in collaboration with managers to solve employee relation issues
Partner with senior management to develop recruitment strategy including building pipelines for current and future needs
Manage offer process to include salary recommendations, offer letter generation, and offer acceptance/turndowns
Provide guidance and support in reviewing employee data for corrective action/termination requests
Responds to unemployment claims and participates in unemployment hearings
Exit Interviews and data analysis needed to address problem areas
Keeps abreast of state, federal, and local laws and other government regulations to assist leadership in maintaining compliance within our procedures and business practices
Works collectively with HR leadership to manage compliance, including harassment training, poster compliance, HIPAA, etc.
Assist with administration of benefit plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Assist with payroll processing.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management preferred or related field
3+ Years of experience in Human Resources
Knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures
