We are pleased to announce the re-opening our office Monday, May 11th.
As you know, the unprecedented challenges to our community, state, country and world from the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic forced the temporary closing of our office to allow compliance with all governmental regulations and recommendations. This was done as soon as the social distancing guidelines were published in order to protect our patients and staff. We miss you and hope that you all are staying safe and healthy.
It appears that our government is gradually loosening the restrictions and Miami Beach Family & Sports Chiropractic Center will begin a scaled back re-opening of our practice on Monday May 11th.
As we begin the re-opening of our practice we will be implementing procedures to keep our patients and office staff safe. These include:
1. Multiple daily ozone treatments to kill viruses in the air and on exposed surfaces
2. All surfaces, exam/treatment tables and equipment are sanitized by a sanitizing spray and wiped down.
3. Patients and staff are required to wear a mask or other cloth nose/mouth covering while in the office
4. Hand sanitizer is to be used frequently by all staff before and after all interactions with patients.
5. Our patient schedule will be reduced to 2 patients at a time to give the doctor and staff sufficient time to sanitize the treatment tables and equipment between patients.
6. No walk-ins will be accepted so we can maintain social distancing with an organized schedule. Only patients with scheduled appointments will be seen so we can maintain a minimum amount of people in the office and maintain a safe social-distancing environment.
7. Patients with symptoms associated with COVID-19 Coronavirus are asked to stay home.
Current Known Symptoms Are:
a. Fever
b. Dry Cough
c. Shortness of breath
d. Fatigue
e. A new loss of smell and/or loss of taste
f. Diarrhea
g. Generalized aches and pains
h. Nasal congestion
i. Runny nose
j. Sore throat

8. Telemedicine consultations will continue to be available to those that are unable to leave their home due to self-quarantine. You may call the office for scheduling a telemedicine visit or email Miamibeachdoc@yahoo.com with the subject line: telemedicine visit needed
Telemedicine visits allow you to be face-to-face with me via Video-Chat and explain to me in detail about your issue, demonstrate to me what causes your symptoms and allows me to have you perform orthopedic tests while I observe and obtain a diagnosis. We then discuss various treatment options that can be performed at home. These include exercises, stretches, mobilizations as well as whether to use ice or heat.
I look forward to seeing you all again Monday May 11th.
Sincerely,
Dr. Todd Narson
Your feedback is important to us. Tiondra Miller on our team recently helped you out and we'd like to know how Tiondra did.
