Michael Jackson and Prince were incredibly talented musicians and performers known for their versatility. They were not confined to a single genre, exploring and blending various styles such as pop, rock, R&B, and funk.
Both were considered musical geniuses. Prince and Michael were said to be perfectionists and wanted everything just right. Both Michael Jackson and Prince rose to prominence during the same era, particularly in the 1980s. They achieved immense success and became two of the most iconic and influential figures in the music industry.
Michael Jackson and Prince influenced countless artists who came after them. The impact of their work on subsequent generations has led to continued discussions about their legacies and comparisons between their contributions to music.

Michael Jackson won 15 Grammys, inducted twice into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, National Museum of Dance Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame.

MICHAEL'S DEATH
In 1984, Jackson was burned while filming a Pepsi-Cola commercial, requiring surgery and leading to his dependence on painkillers. Jackson announced in 1993 that he was dependent on painkillers after undergoing scalp surgery.
On June 25, 2009, Jackson died of an overdose of propofol, which was administered by his personal physician, Conrad Murray.
PRINCE'S DEATH
Prince suffered hip pain after decades of strenuous performances. He regularly jumped onstage in platform heels. He began taking painkillers for his hip pain and had hip surgery in the mid-2000s.
Prince was found dead at his home in Paisley Park recording studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota, on April 21, 2016. Toxicology tests showed that he died of an overdose of fentanyl, an opioid painkiller.
