The average age for reaching menopause (i.e. 12 consecutive months without a period) is 51, but it's possible to reach menopause earlier. Menopause triggered by hysterectomy is even dubbed "instant menopause."

Anemia and Blood Work: Why It Matters
(http://ow.ly/tp6A30o8OEb)

Throughout your pregnancy, you'll have several blood tests, each for a different purpose. Your blood tests can provide helpful information regarding your hormone levels; your blood tests can also help your gynecologist track your hemoglobin levels. If your red blood count isn't high enough to sustain your growing blood volume, you may become anemic. At Gotlin OBGYN, your OB/GYN can help you boost your iron levels through dietary changes and, if needed, an iron supplement.
