Some clients fight reality harder than they fight their actual problems.
They want compromise — a middle ground where they don’t have to fully let go of what they wanted, and don’t have to fully accept what is.
But here’s what I’ve learned watching people transform: you cannot negotiate with reality.
Compromise sounds reasonable. Radical acceptance sounds extreme. But the paradox is this — accepting what you cannot change is the only move that actually gives you power back.
The resistance is the suffering. Not the situation.
When my clients finally stop bargaining and start accepting, everything shifts. Not because their circumstances changed. Because they did.
Radical acceptance isn’t giving up. It’s the beginning of getting free.
