Perfect cozy Sunday Yin evening with Andrea Clemente ✨
Starting this coming Sunday January 19th !

Yin Yoga regulates the flow of energy in the body.
It is a more meditative approach with a physical focus much deeper than Yang like practices. Here the practitioner is trying to access the deeper tissues such as the connective tissue and fascia and many of the postures, that we hold for longer periods of time, focus on areas that encompass a joint (hips, sacrum, spine).

Yin yoga is an effective practice to maintain the flexibility of the body, to deepen the connection with the breath and train the mind to remain present through the entire practice.

Grecia Paez Goldman (Kirin Ved Kaur) transitioned from a career in roadside asset maintenance to pursue her passion for teaching Kundalini yoga after personally practicing it for four years. This transformative experience shifted her perspective and inspired her to share the teachings with others. She completed her Level One 200-hour teacher certification under Jai Dev and Krishna Kaur in Nevada City, California, and received extensive one-on-one training with Anastasia Hamilton, whose lineage includes Yogi Bhajan. Grecia’s path reflects her dedication to spiritual growth and helping others through the profound practice of Kundalini yoga.

Kundalini yoga is a form of yoga that involves chanting, singing, breathing exercises, and repetitive poses. Its purpose is to activate your Kundalini energy, or shakti.

The Acro Yoga class is coming back this coming Sunday 11am 🔥
In this All-Levels-accessible course, we will explore the basics of partner acrobatics with Frankie Bonilla.
This class is for everyone. If you have interest in becoming more flexible & stronger while enjoying movement, this is for you. There is no need for previous experience or a super strong-flexible body. Our goal is to bring this fun practice in an accessible and safe way to everybody.
You can come by yourself or bring a friend. We work in trios. You will learn the three main roles for every pose: Base, Flyer and Spotter.
And most importantly we will explore the personal growth components of the practice such as developing trust, emphatic communication and creating community 🔥

She will be sharing the tools that she’ve learned throughout her journey as a handbalancer.

In this Workshop, we’ll cover the foundations of handstands, focusing on proprioceptive work, balance calibration, mobility, and movement. You’ll learn to better understand your body in space, refine your balance, and move more effectively.
This workshop is for all levels, as long as you’re comfortable with inversions and aren’t afraid of being upside down.

No endless drills—just a minimalist approach focused on the essentials. Simple, precise, and effective.

No matter what level you are at, Belu will share methodical exercises to work on your balance.

Bio:
Belu is a Contemporary Circus Artist from Argentina. Her practice is focused on contortion and handstand. Furthermore, she is a dancer and a yoga practitioner. To maintain her demanding physical activity, much of her training is based on strength training. Movement and the eternal journey of developing body awareness is the priority of her daily life. Not only a performer but also a Flexibility and Handstand coach, she is happy to share tools so you can work to find balance in your hands!

Eben has a Master’s Degree in clinical psychology and has been teaching yoga, meditation, and breathwork for over a decade. After teaching yoga in LA for 4 years, Eben traveled and led global retreats for 4 more. He’s been running ultra-marathons, hiking and camping in foreign mountain systems, practicing yoga in India, and harnessing the power of ritual in South America to enrich his understanding of state of mind, physical tenacity, and the human spirit.

Andrea is a yoga teacher, ayurvedic wellness coach, and astrologer based in Miami Beach. She has been practicing yoga since 2011 and teaching since 2014. Her joy for the practice comes from its subtlety, and it is from this place that she teaches. Her classes guide you through a journey of harnessing attention, awareness, and self discovery through the challenges of asana. Her style is slow, focused, intentional, and sometimes intense with a little bit of laughter sprinkled in. This practice asks us not to work out, but to work IN with curiosity.

Our unique prenatal yoga classes go well beyond simply modifying yoga poses. We celebrate community and strive to make your pregnancy as comfortable as possible. We will address any aches or pains in your body so you will feel more comfortable.

Each class includes poses that bring balance and alignment to the pelvis, pelvic floor and encouraging your relationship with your baby. We are here to help build a support system with other moms going through the same process.

Suitable for all trimesters we will finish the practice with some restorative postures leaving you energized, stretched and relaxed.

Prepare for an intense workout, deep stretch, breathwork, and meditation with Eben Oroz who will start teaching at State of Yoga on Thu 12pm, Vinyasa open.

Description of the class:
Class starts with a brief meditation. Then, 30-minutes of flow where you’ll explore how to contract and relax intensely in and between poses to inch closer to your peak performance. After the flow, you’ll get into 3-5 minute long postures to ensure increased flexibility. Breathwork will be sprinkled in between. As physical as the class is, it’s equally mental. Every class centers around a meditation technique that will encourage you to keep your mind in check!

Wednesdays 6pm, 60-min Gentle Flow with Elena Buglo

What is a Gentle Flow?
Gentle Flow combines a series of postures, where with a gentler, lighter paced flow, students will be able to move with a sense of ease from one posture to another, coordinated with the breath. This softer pace will allow you to be more present with each posture.

BIo:
Elena comes from a diverse background of traditional yogic practices such as Iyengar and Anusara infused with modern elements of flow, dance and hypnotic relaxation. Elena started teaching yoga in 2010, did her 200h RYT training at Yoga Tree, San Francisco, and taught yoga in South Korea, Russia, Alaska, San Francisco and Miami. She is a trained hypnotherapist, dance and aerial instructor, and she holds a PhD in neuroscience. Elena’s classes can be best described as made of dance-like flow with awareness and a deep hypnotic sound meditation at the end.
