Kicking off with .bod at the was a success in many ways. 🏆

Brandi’s work ethic, will to win, communication and coachability are second to none. She creates wins every single day. These wins translate to the ultimate outcome:

🥇Figure Open Class A, 1st Place
🥈Figure Masters 45+, 2nd Place

The less tangible win, is a new shift in her already amazing mindset. Transforming from the inside out. She is a light in this world that continues to shine brighter. She does the work to be her best self, then shares her light and inspires many.💡

From having a Dr. tell you that you’ll never have abs again, to one of the best 6-8 packs in the game. Don’t let anyone else control your outcome. 🫶

To say I am proud and grateful to be part of this journey would be an understatement. .bod - Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We are baybeeee! 💓

A few tips to help shift your mindset. Start by being aware of your thoughts and beliefs. Challenge negative thinking and replace it with positive and empowering thoughts. Surround yourself with positive influences and practice gratitude. 🏆🙏💫

Important fitness lessons I’ve learned.✨

Change and finding balance isn’t easy. It doesn’t happen in one 6 week program. It takes years. {🙋🏻‍♀️ going on 17+ years}.

Who you become during the process is more important than what you become. The result is still important, but going through the journey is where you’ll learn about yourself and what works best. 🫶

You can follow the same fitness and nutrition program as your favorite fitfluencer and never look like them. You are two completely different, beautifully unique people.

I’ll say it again, change isn’t easy. If someone offers you “fast” or “easy” they just want your money.

A calorie is a calorie no matter the time of day, you can eat past 7pm and still lose fat. You can eat within a 6 hour window, and still gain fat. 📈

You won’t lose your gains by taking time off. Rest is necessary for optimal results.

You don’t need to destroy yourself every workout. Soreness is just a sign of inflammation, it’s OK and normal to not be sore after every workout.

You don’t need endless amounts of cardio to lose weight, and lifting heavy won’t make you look like a man. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Exercise is a celebration of your body, not a punishment for the cookie you ate.

Your life is not a race with one end goal. Set the goal, aim for the moon, but don’t forget to stop and smell the roses. There is so much to be seen and experienced along the way. 🌹

Fad diets are like playing in the street. 🖤

It’s all fun and games until somebody’s hormones, metabolism & results get hurt.

Crash diets may show initial results, but are rightfully called this because you are bound to 'crash’ sooner or later.

When you try to outsmart your body, it outsmarts you back, so when you start eating too little, your body adapts and simply starts to use less energy.

A more sustainable approach would have you:
* Set realistic goals

* Eat regular meals

* Choose a variety of healthy foods

* Keep a food and thoughts diary to help you stay conscious of what you eat

* Adopt a ‘more or less’ rather than ‘all or nothing’ approach to eating

* Learn how to cope with feelings

* Be active in your daily life and include a regular activity that you enjoy

* Get ongoing support
