Let the light in ✨ TEACHER SPOTLIGHT:
Dan teaches yoga and cooks food the same way he lives—intentionally. He arrived in Florida with nothing but a high-mileage Honda, zero dollars, and the determination to build something real from the ground up. With no support system, yoga and cooking became his meditative anchors and creative outlets. Movement taught him consistency; food taught him care. Today, Dan creates spaces—on the mat and at the table—where people can slow down, breathe, and reconnect. His work is about shared presence, patience, and the quiet power of moving and living together.
What’s the energy you want to create in your classes?
Dan: I’m always aiming to create a sense of consistency. An intention shouldn’t be something you visit once—it should be something you live inside of. Through movement, breath, and awareness, we practice staying with the same truth physically and emotionally, so it becomes part of how we move through life, not just class.
How do you want students to feel after your class?
Dan: I want people to leave feeling calm, settled, and spacious. When the nervous system softens, patience naturally follows—patience with their own process and with everything unfolding around them.
How do you know when the room is really connected?
Dan: It feels like water. A connected room has this quiet rhythm—like breath, like waves. Movement rises and falls together, and you can feel that no one is pushing or pulling. The room is just flowing.
