Adventures for the mind, body and spirit
AN INVITATION TO EXPERIENCE YOUR DREAMS

Something extraordinary happens when you open yourself up to adventure! The adventure of Source Journeys began in 2001, through conversations with like-minded friends and a shared vision of extraordinary travel experiences for the mind, body and SPIRIT! Over the past 20 years, our journeys have led us to wonderful destinations and to life-altering experiences and memories. We have sailed on tall ships to enchanting islands, danced on the waves in South Africa, explored the mysteries of Machu Picchu, and watched the sun set over the pyramids from camelback. Whether rejuvenating with onboard yoga, hiking on the slopes of a volcano, dancing under the moonlight, or visiting the world’s wonders, at Source Events, it’s your choice. This is an invitation to dream, to become a part of the family and share in the extraordinary intimacy that defines Source Events. We believe the world is full of beauty, surprises and unforgettable experiences. I’d like to personally invite you to live your dream, and join us on one of our Source Journeys.

Another Source Story, as we continue celebrating 25 years of Source Journeys.

For Glenn, the connection began long before Rwanda. As a child, he would ride his bike to the zoo and linger in front of the gorilla enclosure, watching, sensing something he couldn’t quite explain. It stayed with him over the years, quietly shaping the way he saw animals and the world around him.

So when he found himself trekking through the forests of Rwanda, coming face to face with mountain gorillas, it felt like something returning. There was awe, of course, and a presence that’s hard to put into words. But what stayed with him most wasn’t the power. It was the play.

A young gorilla burst through the group, full of energy and curiosity, and then the silverback, the one you might expect to keep his distance, began to wrestle and engage with his family. Strong enough to command everything around him, choosing instead something gentler.

“It reminded me of my dad,” Glenn said. “Wrestling in the backyard.”

For a moment, the wild didn’t feel distant. It felt familiar.

Mongolia isn’t a destination most people have a clear reference point for, so let’s bring it into focus.

You begin in Ulaanbaatar, then travel into Western Mongolia’s Altai region, one of the most remote and visually striking parts of the country. Days are spent moving through wide valleys and rugged landscapes, meeting Kazakh eagle hunters, and experiencing traditions that are still actively practiced today. At the end of each day, you return to a mobile luxury camp where your private room is already set up, allowing you to explore deeply without the constant packing and unpacking.

From there, the journey continues into the Gobi Desert. The landscape opens into golden dunes, the Flaming Cliffs, and long stretches of quiet, expansive space. You’re staying in a thoughtfully designed desert lodge that offers comfort while still feeling connected to the environment around you.

Throughout the trip, everything is handled. All meals are included, logistics are seamless, and the pace is intentional, balancing structured experiences with space to take it all in. Along the way, there are moments created specifically for this group, including a Private Mini Naadam that offers a more personal and immersive connection to Mongolian culture.

With a small group, the experience stays social, easy, and connected from start to finish.

This is a journey across some of Mongolia’s most dramatic landscapes, designed to be deeply immersive.

It’s never just about the destination.

It’s about perspective.

Each person arrives with their own lens, shaped by where they’ve been and what they’ve experienced. And in a shared moment like this, those perspectives overlap in a way that makes the experience richer.

The same place, seen in many different ways.

Just outside Mexico City sits Teotihuacan, a 2,000 year old ceremonial city once among the largest in the ancient world. The Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Avenue of the Dead stretch across the valley with a scale that still feels hard to comprehend.

And then you see it from above.

Before the day begins, you’re rising slowly in a hot air balloon as the sun comes up over the valley. The light shifts, the pyramids come into full view, and everything feels quiet in a way that’s hard to find anywhere else.

It’s calm. It’s surreal. You’re not just looking at Teotihuacan. You’re experiencing it in a way most people never do.

This is what it looks like a few days in.

Trips often begin with a kind of buzz. New places, new people, new connections, all unfolding at once. And while that excitement stays, something else begins to settle in.
A quiet sense of ease.

The rhythm of the days becomes familiar. Faces you recognize. Conversations you return to without thinking. Everything starts to feel more natural, more grounded.

A drink in hand, the light softening, good company around you.

Mongolia is epic in the truest sense. Vast, remote, and breathtaking in a way that’s hard to fully understand until you’re standing in it.

On this journey, we move through landscapes that feel almost cinematic, from the rugged beauty of the Altai to the quiet, endless horizon of the Gobi Desert. Along the way, we connect with traditions that are still deeply alive, spending time with Kazakh eagle hunters, sharing in a private Mini Naadam created just for our group, and experiencing a way of life shaped by the land itself.

Days unfold in wide open space, where the pace shifts and perspective follows. Evenings end in places chosen not just for comfort, but for their sense of place, from a mobile luxury camp in the Altai to a desert lodge set within the stillness of the Gobi.

This is a journey designed for those seeking something rare. Something expansive. Something that stays with you.

Another Source Story, as we continue celebrating 25 years of Source Journeys.

When Chris Verdugo set out to celebrate turning forty, he imagined something intentional and personal.

He chose to mark the moment at sea, sailing from Rome toward Venice aboard the Wind Surf, surrounded by friends and family who had shaped so many chapters of his life. What began as a small gathering grew, naturally and unexpectedly, into something generous. Nearly eighty people, all there to celebrate together.

One evening, dressed in white on the top deck, with Capri fading into the distance, the light turned soft and golden as the celebration unfolded.
And then, the night had other plans.

In the distance, Stromboli began to erupt. Lava lighting up the sky as the ship moved quietly forward, the entire deck falling still as everyone watched.

It wasn’t planned. It wasn’t expected. But it became the moment no one would forget.

Start the year somewhere unforgettable.

We begin in Mexico City, where the energy is immediate color, movement, incredible food, and a creative spirit that carries through every neighborhood. Days spent floating through Xochimilco, stepping inside Frida Kahlo’s world, and standing before the ancient pyramids of Teotihuacan.

Then, a shift.
San Miguel de Allende slows everything down. The light softens, the streets glow, and the days unfold with ease vineyard afternoons, long dinners, time to wander and take it all in.

After that, a Source-style New Year’s celebration, followed by a walk into the heart of the city as fireworks fill the sky. Champagne in hand, surrounded by a small group of travelers who, by now, feel like something more than strangers.

A beautiful way to close one chapter and begin the next.
Join us in Mexico City and San Miguel de Allende, December 26 – January 2.

Another Source Story, as we continue celebrating 25 years of Source Journeys.

In Nara Park, Larry set out to experience one of Japan’s most charming traditions. Bow to the deer, and they bow back before accepting a biscuit.

He bowed, and the deer bowed in return. Just as he reached for the treat, he felt a gentle nudge from behind. Another deer, a little more eager, had stepped in, hoping to skip the line.

Larry turned and laughed. Without hesitation, he offered the biscuit anyway.

“After all,” he said, “he bowed too.”

The Bow, the Biscuit, and the Nudge

A small moment, unexpected and full of charm, that stayed with him long after the journey ended.

Few trips feel as big as Antarctica.

You cross the Drake Passage and suddenly the world changes. Icebergs drift past the ship. Penguins gather along the shoreline. The air feels impossibly clear.

We still have a small number of cabins available on this expedition.

If this is a place you’ve always wanted to see, the time to connect with the Source team is now.

It’s about wandering the markets, getting a little lost, and discovering the rhythm of a destination together.

The best stories from Source journeys are not always the ones on the itinerary.

They happen in the moments between. The friendships that form, the laughter shared around a table, the memories that stay long after the trip ends.

As we celebrate 25 years of Source Journeys, we’re sharing 25 stories from our community that capture the spirit of these travels and the connections they create.
The first takes us to Florence.

During our Rome to Cannes cruise in 2017, Tim and Joe climbed to the top of the Duomo with the rest of the group, taking in the incredible view across the city’s red rooftops. But Tim had something more in mind.
High above Florence, surrounded by the beauty of the city, he asked Joe to marry him.

A moment of love, joy, and surprise that became part of the story of that journey and part of the larger story of our Source community.
