Most patients experience no major side effects while on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) except for the added benefits of the therapy. However, adverse reactions do occur and are easy to correct.

While some men experience side effects after testosterone replacement therapy, there are no comprehensive clinical studies to establish the long-term side effects of testosterone replacement.

👍 In general, testosterone replacement is considered a safe therapy.

Some major side effects, which are rare, include an increase in red blood cells, gynecomastia, acne, fluid retention, and a decrease in s***m count.
