Today we are happy to double celebrate one of our funeral directors, Jennifer Socarrás Burke.

Jen has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 2010 and started her role at Vista Funeral Home exactly on her birthday five years ago! She is passionate about guiding families through meaningful services that honor life, legacy, and the unique stories of each person she meets. She enjoys mentoring new funeral professionals and takes pride in building lasting relationships within her community.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family; supporting her children’s activities by staying involved in the PTA, cheering on her daughter at the barn as she pursues her equestrian dreams in the arena, and encouraging her son in his journey as a percussionist. In between traveling to their activities, she enjoys spending time with her dad in the Florida Keys boating and fishing, motorcycle rides to explore new oyster spots with her husband, James, but her favorite is making magical memories at Walt Disney World while seeing how many more times she has to ride Guardians of the Galaxy before she finally gets September. We’re excited to welcome our new Family Service Counselor, Greg Salazar, who recently joined us and is already making an impact by guiding families through important decisions with compassion and clarity for the future.

When he’s not supporting the families we serve, you can find him out on the golf course, fishing, snowboarding, or spending quality time with his son.

With years of dedication and heart, Roberto Lopez is a vital part of our daily operations. He enjoys working closely with families and building real connections while supporting them every step of their service.

When he’s off the clock, you’ll likely find him out on the open road enjoying a peaceful motorcycle ride, or at home spending time with his wife and grandchildren.

Today we would like to celebrate our highly dedicated Family Service Manager, Robert Holtz!

Rob found his calling to join the Death Care profession due to the tragic loss of his father. He brings unrivaled passion, empathy, and care to the families he comes in contact with here at Vista Funeral Home.

He makes it his mission to be a mentor, coach and sometimes a close confidant to the family service counselors and staff that form the Vista team.

Rob takes great pride in witnessing his team grow, not only professionally but also as individuals and seeing them assisting local families with the care, respect, and dignity they deserve.

In his free time, Rob enjoys being out in the community volunteering, spending time playing guitar, riding his motorcycle, and being the best father and grandfather he can be!

Stephanie has dedicated her career to serving families during some of life’s most difficult moments, leading with compassion, strength, and heart. Today, she focuses on supporting and guiding a team that continues that same level of care every single day.

When she’s not taking care of others, you’ll find her enjoying life on her farm, loving on cows, wearing her favorite color purple, and cheering loud at her son’s baseball games ⚾🐄

We’re so grateful for the leadership and kindness she brings to our team and the families we serve every day.
