HABILIDADES DBT?
No requiere

EMOTION REGULATION?

Emotions and behaviors go hand in hand. If you feel angry, you might raise your voice or argue. If you feel
sad, you might withdraw from your friends. Actions and emotions are closely linked.
What many people don’t know is that this connection goes both ways. Just as emotions lead to behaviors,
behaviors lead to emotions.
This means doing the opposite action can change how you feel. If you typically raise your voice when you’re
angry, try talking quietly and politely. If you withdraw when you feel sad, make a point to visit a friend
instead. It might feel forced at first, but acting opposite can shift your feelings in a more positive direction.

You can try PLEASE to give you a better lifestyle and tranquility.

OVERTHINKING STUFF?

Overthinking is a common pitfall in decision-making. This includes endlessly gathering information, analyzing pros and cons from every angle, and trying to think through every possible outcome. The result is often mental exhaustion as well as “analysis paralysis” – the inability to move forward with a decision.

Overthinking is a habit that can be hard to break.

It’s a vicious cycle of negative thoughts that builds and builds, or feels like you’re spinning down a rabbit hole. For example, you may start worrying about a specific situation at work, which leads to worrying about money, which leads to worrying about losing your job.

Kind of hard not thinking about it right?

ADHD? What is it?

ADHD is diagnosed in almost 1 in 10 school-aged kids. For teenagers, education about ADHD is an important part of treatment. Myths about ADHD are rampant, such as the idea that the diagnosis means “less intelligent”, or that ADHD is just an excuse for behavioral and academic problems.

The acronym “ADHD” stands for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder. People with ADHD typically have a hard time paying attention and may act without thinking about the consequences. Of course, everyone has these problems occasionally. But for those with ADHD, the problems happen more often, and are more intense.

***Anger Management***

If you've ever struggled with anger, you are probably familiar with the feeling of regret that follows an outburst. You promise yourself: "I'll never let that happen again." But then, it happens again. And again. Anger takes away our ability to think rationally. After your anger fades, you regain the ability to think clearly, and you regret what your angry self said or did.

But here's the thing: Anger isn't always a bad thing. When controlled, anger helps us. Anger drives us to make changes to situations that are bad, it pushes us to stand up for our rights, and it protects us if our lives are threatened. The problem isn't having anger, it's having too much anger, and expressing it in an ineffective way.

How do you react when you are angry?

In the picture attached you can see the anger signs.

Using Exercise in Mental Health Treatment

The connection between exercise and mental well-being has become increasingly obvious as research on the subject grows. Unfortunately, most mental health counseling training programs don't cover the topic, and as few as 10% of psychotherapists talk to their clients about exercise.

Research suggests that exercise can have a significant positive impact on depression, anxiety, eating disorders, addictions, cognitive functioning, and more. Not only can exercise be used to treat these issues (sometimes as well as traditional psychotherapy or medication), but it also works as a preventative measure.

And you? Do you exercise?
