Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Update: 3/17/20
At Miami Lakes Family Chiropractic, the safety and security of our staff, patients and local community is our utmost priority.
We are closely monitoring the rapidly evolving spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact on the community we serve, and are following guidance from the CDC and other local health organizations to do our part to help mitigate the spread. Our Business Continuity Plans are well-developed, and we continue to adapt those plans to the unprecedented circumstances resulting from the COVID-19 virus. We will deploy those plans as appropriate to help ensure uninterrupted service to our customers and local communities.
Our Team
We are taking the necessary precautions to protect our staff and, in turn, our valued patients. These precautions include specific instructions to our staff on the importance of washing their hands, and other good health habits, as well as staying home if they feel sick. Per CDC recommendations, we are also asking employees who have traveled, or who have a family member returning, from an area of the world identified as posing a coronavirus-related risk to self-quarantine for 14 days. Additionally, our office is using an Ozone Generator to purify the air during our lunch break, as well as after our evening shift, as a means to kill impurities.

We are continuously evaluating ongoing developments, monitoring any impacts to the patients and community we serve and will continue to take appropriate actions to ensure a safe and healthy working and healing environment for our staff and patients.
