Dr. Robert A del Castillo, Miami Lakes Periodontal Associates Our practice is dedicated to improving the over-all dental health of our patients offering them the latest techniques in Periodontics and Implant Therapy.

Dr. del Castillo received his bachelor of science degree from the University of Florida in 1981. He earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 1985. Dr. del Castillo remained at Tufts until 1987 during which time he received his specialty training in periodontology. Returning to his hometown of Miami Lakes, Dr. del Castillo established his practice November of 1987, and then later founded Miami Lakes Peridontal Associates in 1995. Dr. del Castillo has lectured both nationally and internationally on regenerative and implant therapies. Dr. del Castillo is a published author on regenerative therapies in the Compendium of Dental Therapy May 2000. Dr. del Castillo is a visiting lecturer at Nova Southeastern Dental School in South Broward Florida, University of Maryland Dental School and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. del Castillo was appointed a visiting faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Our goal is to not only provide our patients with the highest quality of periodontal care in a friendly and caring environment, but also to assist their general dentist in the re-establishment and long term maintenance of the patient's periodontal health.
